There are kittens at Hilltop again! Doug and his daughter Ellie found the momma and her six babies at Cumberland University during one of Ellie's softball hitting lessons in late April. The babies appeared to be only a day old and were dumped behind the bleachers. Hilltop took the family in, and the babies have enjoyed growing up with lots of love and interaction. We named the momma Phoenix after Cumberland University's mascot, and what a good momma she is! Phoenix is a real sweetheart, and did a great job raising her babies. Three of the kittens went home with Doug and Robin's daughters, and one has found his forever home in Knoxville, TN. However, we still have two little kitties and Phoenix in need of homes! As you can see, they are all tabbies. We have one boy and one girl, both very sweet, playful, and cuddly. They have had their first round of kitten vaccinations, and Phoenix has been vaccinated and spayed.
If you have any interest in the kitties please let us know! We'd be happy to have you come by and meet them as well.
